Community Programmes

ActiveAbility Adult Community Sessions, (also known as our open programme) provide affordable and accessible community-based sport, exercise classes and activities. Participants can enjoy activities, meet new friends and learn new skills, regardless of transportation, financial, geographical or ability barriers.

WHO IS IT FOR

We pride ourselves on the fact that our open programme is accessible and activities can be tailored to each individual, regardless of transportation, financial, geographical or ability barriers.

HOW MUCH IS IT

£3

The majority of our community sessions are just £3 per person - with carers able to join in for free.

ActiveAbility Adult Community Sessions feature a range of activities that run 7 days a week. We supply the equipment, coaches and facilities so all you need to do is turn up with your service users. A range of day services, residential homes and disability user organisations attend these sessions so it’s the perfect place to meet new people and enjoy sport and activity.

WHAT NEXT?

1. Choose an activity from the timetable below that your service users would like to give a go.

2. If you have any questions or would like more information, get in touch with a member of the team.

3. Add the session to your clients calendar and just turn up - yes it's really that easy and there is no booking required.

Our friendly Community Coaches will be waiting and ready to greet you upon arrival.

*are our brilliant partnership sessions which are run by third party organisations. Although we keep this live timetable upto date, sometimes their sessions don’t run and we’ve not been informed and therefore it’s worth checking with the venue/club directly.
