Boat handling to the standard of the Level 2 Powerboat Handling course.

It is strongly recommended that candidates hold a first aid certificate and a VHF/SRC operators certificate.
This course is the next step in the RYA Powerboating pathway and is ideal for leisure and professional boaters wanting to undertake more adventurous trips by day and night. This course is suitable for those aged 17 years plus.
Candidates should be competent to the standard of the Intermediate Powerboat Certificate with a thorough knowledge of the navigation and chartwork to the level of Coastal Skipper/RYA Yachtmaster Shorebased certificate.
