These popular Instructor Training courses are for windsurfers who are looking to teach the RYA Windsurfing syllabus and the RYA Youth Windsurfing Scheme. Students should at least be at Intermediate Non-Planing standard, hold the RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate, a valid First Aid Certificate recognised by the RYA and RYA Safe and Fun Safeguarding certificate.

As a Start Windsurfing Instructor, you’ll be qualified to teach the RYA adult course, as well as youth stages 1 and 2.

Intermediate non-planing certificate with beach starting and non-planing gybe clinics

> RYA Powerboat Level 2
> RYA Safe and Fun certificate and pre-course work
Competent windsurfer
Five day course. The final day will be moderated by an external trainer who will assess candidates.
