Work Begins This Week On Our Brilliant £500,000 Redevelopment!
We’re all set for work to commence on Wednesday to transform Etwall Leisure Centre – and the great news is that while the redevelopment is taking place you will still be able to attend all of your favourite classes, gym sessions and go for a swim in the pool.
The team are gearing up for all of the changes that will see the gym double in size; a new group exercise studio; a new cycling studio; a new reception and coffee bar with views to the pool and the installation of a new tennis court surface with the addition of floodlights to enable it to be used throughout the year.
To enable all of this to take place some classes at the Active Nation venue, managed on behalf of South Derbyshire District Council, are relocating from the Spectator Area. They will still be running but in temporary homes until the brand new class studio is completed.
To keep up to date please check our online timetables before heading to your class.
We will also keep you posted about all of the exciting redevelopment news on our notice board in reception.
Capital contributions from South Derbyshire District Council, Active Nation and Sport England have allowed this exciting redevelopment at Etwall Leisure Centre to go forward, which will see more than £500,000 invested in improved and extended facilities.
For more information about the redevelopment come down and have a chat with the team and have a look at the plans! Thank you for all of your ongoing support – without it none of this would be possible!
