Nicas stands for National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes. The Nicas programme is an introduction to climbing and provides a gateway to learning more about the sport. The key aim of the NICAS programme is to provide a safe introduction to climbing for young people on artificial climbing structures both indoors and outdoors.
