As part of your Discovery lesson, you will:
Level 2 – Learning to Snowplough
Follows on from level 1. Start to take control of your speed and get ready for turning by rotating your feet into a snowplough shape. This is key to help us go a little slower as we go higher and get us ready for turns in L3.
Level 3 – Learning to Turn
Get turning in our L3 lesson after mastering your plough and balance in the lessons before. Starting by practicing our plough we can then start gently turning the skis and pointing them to where we want to go!
In your next lesson, our L4, we learn how to perfect our turns to have you confident with fully controlling your speed and direction on our slope.
Level 4 – Getting ready to Practice
In this Level 4 lesson we will put everything we have learned so far together to allow ourselves to have good and confident control over our speed and direction. At the end of the lesson you should be ready to come and practice on the slopes with us or come along to our coaching sessions like Ski Tips or Ski and Tea.
Passed Level 4 and looking for more? We have you covered! Our coached practice sessions are here help you develop your skills from snowploughs to parallels, and beyond! You can find more information about our Ski Tips or Ski & Tea sessions HERE
