New Junior Squash Sessions Come To Clayton Green Sports Centre!

Squash is a great way for people of all ages to get fit, meet new people, and have fun – and kids are no exception! We are launching an exciting new programme aimed at introducing young people to this energetic, fast-paced and fun sport.

Squash is played by more than 500,000 people in England every month, from the elite players, all the way down to the thousands who take part in local leagues and youngsters starting out.

From November 13th, we will be launching our new Mini Squash sessions for 5-11 year olds and Little Belters for 12-16 year olds at Clayton Green Sports Centre in Chorley. These programmes are a great way to encourages young people to get on court and have fun.

Using specialised equipment designed to help children learn the basic skills as well as develop coordination and balance, Mini Squash provides the ideal introduction to squash. Sessions will run from 4pm-4.40pm.

The Little Belters session is the next step up from Mini-Squash. Players can expect to focus on full court match play, technical skills, fitness and tactics. These sessions will run from 4.40pm-5.20pm.

These programmes are a great way for young people to try a new sport or develop existing skills, meet new friends and most importantly have lots of fun!

Both sessions will run on Thursdays and between now and Christmas and we are running a brilliant introductory offer of just £2 per session.
