Make A Splash! Have Fun And Be Safe In The Water!
More than 1 million primary school children across the country will break up for half term unable to be safe in and around water. According to the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) 51% of 7-11 year olds cannot swim 25m unaided and 52% of parents do not believe their child would be able to swim to safety if they were to get into danger in the water.
Right now more than 1,100 children and adults come to Yarborough Leisure Centre in Lincoln every week as part of our Learn To Swim programme. Feeling inspired to get involved? Try one of our courses:
Little Fins – £15.93 per month
This course is great for building your baby’s confidence in the pool from the early age of 2 months up to 1 year. Big Fins – £15.93 per month
Babies (1-2yrs) then progress on to Big Fins which continues to build their confidence through fun and play and is also held during term time on Thursdays at 12.30pm.
