All of the Active Nation venues taking part have designed exciting and energetic programmes that make the most of their facilities.
Have A Ball
Our activity clubs are a brilliant way to introduce children to a wide range of sports and exercise in a fun and friendly atmosphere – plus it’s a good chance to make some new friends! As well as cricket, football and swimming, some venues will also be offering ultimate tennis, volleyball, obstacle courses and so much more. Who knows, there might even be some spooky activities taking place for Halloween!
Make A Splash
Why not come for a swim in one of our pools? It’s a great way to spend time together as a family and be active! Many venues are also running intensive learn to swim lessons and children’s distance badges.
Ride The Waves
Southampton Water Activities Centre has got loads of adventures for kids to get involved in every school holidays. The team will take them out in the boats, teach them to sail and introduce them to life on the water!
Get On the Slopes
The Alpine Snowsports centres in Southampton and Aldershot are running lots of activities on their slopes – including one-day and half-day ski and snowboarding camps and so much more. If you live far away, why not make a day of it and introduce your youngsters to the thrill of the slopes?
Winter Olympic bronze medallist Jenny Jones will also be launching an exciting new club for young skiers and snowboarders at our Alpine Snowsports, Southampton centre on October 30th. Great Britain’s Slopestyle Snowboarder Billy Morgan also started his road to the Sochi Olympics when he visited the venue as a teen and became hooked on all of the action on the slopes.
So what are you waiting for? Get in touch today and see what adventures your child can experience this October Half Term. Chances are that they will have some more exciting stories to tell when they get back to school than if they had sat playing computer games all week!
