Finding Their Rhythm At Yarborough Leisure Centre
Finding Their Rhythm At Yarborough Leisure Centre

YOUNGSTERS are finding their grove thanks to a new class at Yarborough Leisure Centre.
Street Dance is already proving to be a hit with 8 to 14 year olds and the aim is to start a new class for 4 to 7 year olds ASAP.
One of those finding their rhythm at the class said: “It’s great and so much fun. The time just flies by. I love learning new moves and all of the routines. I have told all of my friends about it.”
Professional dancer Charlotte Spratt, who has danced with the X Factor finalists for Children In Need, is teaching the class all of her best moves. She added: “We are already seeing some great progress.
“Those taking part can express themselves through dance, make new friends and socialise with people of different ages. Most importantly of all they are developing their own street dance style and expressing themselves as an individual. I believe that dance helps to build confidence but also teaches you to work as part of a team in a fun and friendly environment.”
One parent said: “My daughter loves coming and I have already seen a big improvement in her dance and in her confidence. It’s great to see them working together in their routines.”
Classes for 8-14 year olds are held on a Friday from 5pm to 6pm, and it is hoped to start a class on Wednesdays for 4-7 year olds. For more information give us a call on 01522 873600.
