Dance To A New Beat At Yarborough Leisure Centre
Dance To A New Beat At Yarborough Leisure Centre

Kids are being given a chance to find their rhythm at a fun and exciting new dance class.
Yarborough Leisure centre is joining forces with professional dancer Charlotte Spratt to bring Street Dance to Lincoln. The class is for boys and girls and combines everything from tap through to break dancing and hip hop.
Charlotte has danced with the X Factor finalists for Children In Need and spent three years at Preston Dance College to get her teaching qualifications. She said: “Young people attending the classes will gain more knowledge of dance as a whole. They will improve their rhythm and memory, and learn more about how to control their bodies and how to move them in a certain way to make movements look their best.
“They will be able to express themselves through dance, make new friends and socialise with people of different ages. Most important of all they shall develop their street dance style and express themselves as an individual, where they shall gain confidence but also work as part of a team with the rest of the class in a fun and friendly environment.”
The vibrant and uplifting classes will run from 5pm to 6pm on Wednesdays for 4-7 year olds and on Fridays for 8-14 year olds. For more information give us a call on 01522 873600.
