Now there is another great way that you can support Active Nation. The Lincolnshire Co-op has selected us as one of their chosen ‘Community Champions’.
Community Champions is a Lincolnshire Co-op initiative that supports local charities and good causes.
Every time a dividend card holder shops in one of their stores, they will make a donation to that members nominated local charity or community group. The initiative means that you don’t need to do anything beyond your normal shopping to give a little extra to charities like ours.
Active Nation will be using these donations locally in Lincoln to maximise our public benefit by influencing the health and activity rates of Lincoln’s residents. The money will be used to make sport and exercise more accessible through better coaching and equipment.
To ensure that Active Nation gets your support, please follow these simple steps:
- First make sure you are a co-op member and have a dividend card
- Log onto www.lincolnshire.coop/communitychampions and select “choose my own community champion” option
- If you are not already registered on the website follow the link to register, you will then be sent an email to enable you to set a password and login
- When logged in on the site, choose your champion page select Active Nation (We’re near the top of the list)
- Job Done!
So next time you pop to the shop, remember to swipe your Dividend Card…and think Active Nation!
