Aldershot Alpine – Keep Up To Date With Our First Newsletter Of The Winter Season!

Wooohoooooo… winter is here! That doesn’t just mean cold weather, dark evenings and extra layers – it also means ski and snowboard season at Alpine Snowsports! We’ve got loads of exciting things coming up and good news to tell you, but first of all we would like to say a huge thank you from everyone here at the centre for your continued support.

We have had one of our best summer seasons of all time – thanks to the dedication of loyal supporters such as you and we’re hoping the winter will be even better! Keep up to date with all things Alpine with our first Newsletter of the Winter Season.

News

We have had some big things happening at the slope over the last few months. We have invested more than £10k in new matting and over £10k on new ski and snowboard equipment.

We also had a visit to our Southampton slope from Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic bronze medallist Jenny Jones, who launched our Thursday evening After School Club. Jenny learnt to snowboard on a dry slope just like ours and so it was fantastic to have her with us showing children of all ages how far you can go with skiing and boarding.

Events

Able to ski already but looking to improve? We are launching our Next Step and Open Plan sessions with a special event on Friday 21st November, 7.15pm – 9.45pm. For just £5 our instructors will give you some ideas and options to take your skiing to the next level – you’ll be professional in no time! It’s an even sweeter deal for 30 day pass holders – you guys get to attend for free! Book now as places are limited, let’s perfect those parallels!

Next Steps

The Next Step session picks up from where the guaranteed courses finish and give you the tools needed to….well, take that next step! Sessions are two hours in duration (1 hour on the launch night) and cost £22.

We all want to improve our skills and one of the best ways to do this is through a little bit of coaching and regular practice! Open Plan sessions are the ideal answer! You don’t need to pre-book…just turn up when you are available! The two hour sessions are a mix of some tips and advice along with the opportunity to practice. Open Plan sessions run on a weekly basis throughout the winter. Please check with your local centre for details of which days this session runs. (1 hour on the launch night). Aimed at main slope skiers and cost £20 each or just £5 to 30 day pass holders

Lift Pass

If you are looking to get some practice in before you go away this year, find your ski legs again or just take up a new hobby then why not invest in one of our 30 day passes? You get unlimited practice skiing for a month for just £32 for adults & £25 for juniors. The 30 day pass now also includes £15 off Open Plan sessions for adults plus you can use your pass at our Southampton slope. It’s a no-brainer!

Parties

Don’t forget if you know anyone with a birthday coming up, our Donut sessions are fantastic for parties. An hour of adrenaline fueled fun speeding down the slope in a rubber ring, followed by party food in our alpine chalet, what more could you want? We can also do ski parties, snowboard parties or sledging for the little ones – there are options for everyone, so why not try something different for your birthday this year?

Deals!

Everyone loves a winter deal, so how about this – if you book a guaranteed to ski or snowboard course before the end of December we will give you a 10 day practice pass for free to practice everything you’ve learnt. And yes you read correctly… we GUARANTEE results with this course so if you aren’t a confident skier or boarder by the end of it we will let you repeat it free of charge!

Christmas Holidays

Looking to keep the kids busy over the Christmas holidays and keep them out of the house while you get everything organised for Santa’s arrival? Look no further! Our school holiday programme is a great way to keep the kids active and safe, teach them a new skill and let them make new friends.
