Level 1 – Learn to slide
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
This session will get them used to being on skis for the first time. It will help them get used to walking around on skis and sliding down in a straight line, an important first step to being a top skier!
Level 2 – Learning the ski lift
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.

This session will introduce the ski lift, they will learn how to get on and off the lift safely.
Level 3 – Learning to Snowplough
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.

Now you are use to moving around on skis, its time to learn how to control them. We start off doing that by learning to snowplough, which will help you to control your speed and will be helpful when its time to learn to turn.
Level 4 – Intro to Snowplough Turns
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
Now you have mastered the snowplough, its time to learn how to turn using your snowplough.
Level 5 – Developing Snowplough turns
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
Now that you are starting to turn, we now need to perfect those turns so you can control your speed and direction when hitting the slopes.
Level 6 – Develop your skills
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.

This is a main slope session, for those that are of a good snowplough turns ability or above. This session will help you to practice and develop all the skills you have learned so far, to help you improve your skiing ability.
Are you aged 8-16 years, at the open practise standard and want some tips on how to improve your skiing ready for the 2022/23 season? Then Tuesday night 7.00-8.30pm is the place for you!
Working with one of our instructors on our practice sessions can really help to get you #runready! We will ensure you are practicing the right stuff so you don't go off track!

Please bring long sleeves, long trousers and a pair of gloves which are essential for all slope activities.
Essential equipment like skis, snowboards, boots and poles are provided.
Please bring a helmet if you have one, if not don't worry, we've got some you can borrow.
Lessons go ahead in all weather conditions so please bring waterproofs if it’s raining. If the centre deem it too dangerous to be on the slope, we will contact you to reschedule.
