All lessons include snowboard equipment. Please wear long sleeves, long trousers (waterproofs if raining) and a pair of gloves. Unless otherwise stated all snowboard lessons below are available to those 12 and over. All lessons must be pre-booked. Minimum numbers are required on all lessons except private tuition, where ever possible if the minimum number is not reached we will reduce the tuition time rather than cancel the session/course.

Discovery Sessions – £10

These are a great way to come and have a go! Aimed at those who have never skied, the 60 minute session will show you what it’s all about and get you sliding!

6 Hour Guaranteed Course – £99 (£87 for 12-16 year olds)

These beginner courses do what they say… we guarantee that by the end of this course you will be able to snowboard to practice standard (control your speed, direction and use the lift). If you fail to reach the practice standard at the end of the course we’ll let you repeat sessions FREE until you do. Courses are either 3 x 2hour lessons or 2 x 3 hour lessons.

1 Day Fast Trax Beginner Snowboard Course – £99 (£87 for 12-16 year olds)

This course runs from 11.30am – 5.30pm on a Sunday and covers all the basic skills in one day!

Next Step Session – £22

This two hour long session which revisits, strengthens and develops those basic skills learnt on the beginner course.

Re-Discover – £22

These sessions are great for those who haven’t been snowboarding for a while and are feeling a bit tentative. Aimed at refreshing the skiing memory and getting the confidence back!

Open-Plan – £20 (£5 for 30 Day Alpine Pass Supporters)

Sessions are 2 hours in duration and mix coaching tips and advice from one of our instructors with the opportunity to practice! Sessions run on a weekly basis during the winter and run on our main slope. Minimum age to attend is 12.

1 Hour Private lessons – £45 (min age 10)

Available at any time and are the best way to get specific feedback leading to permanent improvement! Lessons can be upgraded to an hour and a half for an additional £20 supplement.

Family Lessons – £75

If you are a family looking to learn together, these are the answer! Available at selected times, the lesson can include up to two adults and three juniors (min age is 6). All participants do need to be of a similar standard.

Freestyle Friday – £17  or Free to 30 Day Pass holders (£12.50 for Juniors)

Already able to Ski or Snowboard and looking for a new challenge? Inspired by Southampton’s Olympian Billy Morgan and fancy a slice of the action? Freestyle has landed at Alpine Snowsports Southampton! Experience the thrill of going off our new jumps and rails. The sessions run every Friday night from 6pm – 9.30pm. Most weeks one of our qualified Instructors will be on hand to give hints and tips.
