JUNIOR SKI CLUB
Level 1 – Learn to slide
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
This session will get them used to being on skis for the first time. It will help them get used to walking around on skis and sliding down in a straight line, an important first step to being a top skier!
Level 2 – Learning the ski lift
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
This session will introduce the ski lift, they will learn how to get on and off the lift safely.
Level 3 – Learning to Snowplough
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
Now you are use to moving around on skis, its time to learn how to control them. We start off doing that by learning to snowplough, which will help you to control your speed and will be helpful when its time to learn to turn.
Level 4 – Intro to Snowplough Turns
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
Now you have mastered the snowplough, its time to learn how to turn using your snowplough.
Level 6 – Develop your skills
Sessions are aimed at children aged four to ten years old.
A great way for young children to learn to ski!
This is a main slope session, for those that are of a good snowplough turns ability or above. This session will help you to practice and develop all the skills you have learned so far, to help you improve your skiing ability.

Junior Ski Tips (Ages 8-16)
Take Part All Year Round!
Are you aged 8-16 and at an open practice level, looking to improve your skiing skills? Join us every Saturday 4.30-5.30 for expert tips that will get you ready for the upcoming ski season!
Our qualified instructors will work with you during practice sessions to ensure you’re focusing on the right techniques, helping you stay on track and boost your confidence on the slopes.
We can’t wait to see you!
WHAT SHALL I BRING?
Please bring long sleeves, long trousers and a pair of gloves which are essential for all slope activities.
Essential equipment like skis, snowboards, boots and poles are provided.
Please bring a helmet if you have one, if not don’t worry, we’ve got some you can borrow.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Lessons will take place in all weather conditions at Alpine Snowsports Aldershot, so please ensure you bring waterproofs if it’s raining. In the unlikely event that Alpine Snowsports Aldershot deems the slope too dangerous, we will contact you to rearrange.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SKIS AND SNOWBOARD?
Yes – You’re more than welcome to bring your own equipment, along with poles and boots.
CAN PARENTS WATCH?
Yes – We have a viewing platform in which parents can watch from.
