At the Outdoor Sports Centre we are proud to offer a wide range of facilities and spaces to the community in Southampton and the surrounding areas. We’re used for a variety of reasons by a range of individuals and organisations and as a charity, on a mission to persuade the nation to be active, we encourage the use of the sports centre for both structured and unstructured activity.
If you are a personal trainer, fitness instructor or club (incl running and aerobic) or would like to organise an event or activity using any part of the Sports Centre then you must speak with our team so we can advise you on availability, permissions, fees*, planning your event and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
*Typically the Sports Centre operate a policy of you charge, we charge and we will work with organisers to ensure affordability.
Any group using the Sports Centre facilities or grounds must book in advance. To ensure everyone's enjoyment we have a few simple rules that all users need to follow.
Superb outdoor sports area. BMX, tennis, 5 a side, mini golf, the sports centre has it all. Always seems well kept and can be very busy at the weekend or in the evening. There's also a children's play area and a large running track. There are at least two car parks making it very accessible.
It's a great area; lots of activities, great paths for rollerblading, cycle routes, outside press up bars, skiing and snowboarding, netball, football, tennis courts, big athletics track and the old kiddies amusement park which has been there since the dawn of time.
Great place to relax with a nice seaside view. Good for cycling, jogging, dog walking and perfect hub for water sports.
