OUR GROUP LESSONS ARE AS EASY AS 1,2,3,4!

Level 1 – Discover Snowboarding

Start sliding sideways with us in our 1.5-hour group lesson!

As part of your Discovery lesson, you will:

  1. Get to grips with your snowboard and boots
  2. Head out to the slope to take your first run!
  3. Learn the basics of balancing and sliding
  4. Get set for success for the next levels with us!

Snowboarding Level 2 Group Lesson

In this lesson you will get to grips with heal edge to control your speed and also start to move diagonal controlling your direction.

Snowboarding Level 3 Group Lessons.

Time to flip over on to Toe Side and practice our control with side slipping and diagonal movement.

By the end of this lesson you should be able to descend the slope in control on both your heal and toe edge with a basic ability to control direction. L4 takes this a stage further to give us more control over direction and prepare us for turns!

Snowboarding Level 4 Group Lessons.

In Level 4 we will take what you know and develop your skills further to prepare you for turning on your snowboard. You will learn about more edging control to do a falling leaf pattern on your board.

After this lesson you will be ready for open practice out on our slopes!

WHATS NEXT?

Passed Level 4 and looking for more? We have you covered! We have open practice sessions running every day and private lessons to help you take your snowboarding to greater hights!

WHAT SHALL I BRING?

Please bring long sleeves, long trousers and a pair of gloves which are essential for all slope activities.

Essential equipment like skis, snowboards, boots and poles are provided.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Lessons will take place in all weather conditions at Alpine Snowsports Aldershot, so please ensure you bring waterproofs if it’s raining. In the unlikely event that Alpine Snowsports Aldershot deems the slope too dangerous, we will contact you to rearrange.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SKIS & SNOWBOARD?

Yes – You’re more than welcome to bring your own equipment, along with poles and boots.
