With obesity on the rise, and children spending far more time indoors than out, the importance of physical activity is a hot topic. We believe the key to increasing the numbers of people who participate in sport and exercise lies in making exercise fun.
On the back of the success of Active Warrior, our obstacle course event, we have recently launched Rainbow Rampage, a fun 3km course event in Southampton, that involves getting plastered in a kaleidoscope of powdered paint as you rampage around an assortment of obstacles.
The obstacles include mini walls, a rainbow body slide, colour pools, scramble nets and even a foamy gauntlet.
The beauty of Rainbow Warrior is that the event is suitable for a wide range of people and fitness levels. Whilst some take part purely to race competitively, the majority of people take part to have fun at their own pace.
So, whether you are new to exercise, or a die-hard gym bunny looking to broaden your horizons with a group of friends or family, obstacle course events are a great way of improving overall fitness as participants need to master a combination of total body strength and endurance.
The festival village will be a buzz with activity including live entertainment, stalls, food & refreshments and bouncy castles. The start and finish arena will include the most flamboyant warm up party you’ve ever been to.
Parking and the bag drop are free but we will be asking for a small donation which will be collected by our charity partner, Special Olympics Solent.
