This one day course prepares you to stay alive in an emergency. It will show you how to make the best use of a liferaft and you will learn some basic survival techniqes.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
During this one day course, we’ll talk about Liferafts and the equipment they contain, survival techniques, lifejackets, medical aspects of sea survival, search and rescue techniques.
You’ll also put theory into practice with a 90 minute pool session which includes the inflation and use of a Liferaft.
CERTIFICATION
In order for our brilliant instructors to issue your RYA Certificate, you’ll need to show a good knowledge of the safety equipment carried on small boats and the techniques needed to survive at sea in heavy weather.
Aide was a brilliant instructor and his stories from the sea made the course incredibly life-like. The demo equipment was super and the pool session was incredible valuable!
