First Aid at Work
Comprehensive three day First Aid at Work course for nominated workplace first aiders.
What is the First Aid at Work Course?
This three day course delivers an in depth understanding of first aid. It covers CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), shock, electric shock, bleeding, asthma, poisons, epilepsy, heat stroke and other common ailments. You will also cover the use of first aid kits and accident reporting.
Defibrillator training can be added as a “bolt-on” for those wishing to receive a certificate in the use of AED’s – please contact us for availability prior to booking.
When is it?
This course runs every month, usually from 09.00 to 17.00 Wednesday to Friday.

Who is it for?
This course is designed for people who want to receive thorough first aid training and is the standard qualification for first aiders at work.

£249, including a course book and certificate.

Our dedicated training centre is close to Ocean Village Marina in Southampton. On request, one of our experienced instructors can deliver a course at your club or venue.
- The First Aid at Work certificate is nationally recognised and is the minimum qualification if you are looking to become a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) endorsed first aid Instructor. It is valid for three years.
