10 Day Dinghy Instructor
An option for competent dinghy sailors looking to qualify as an RYA instructor, without already holding the pre-requisite courses.
What is it?
Over the ten days you will have a chance to complete the pre-requisite courses and the instructor course all in one block. The courses covered are:
|· RYA Powerboat level 2||· RYA First Aid||· Pre-entry assessment|
|· RYA Dinghy Instructor|
The first four days will consist of the pre-entry training and assessment followed by the Powerboat level 2; this will prepare the candidates for the Dinghy Instructor course. The following five days the instructor course takes place with the final day being the First Aid course.
When is it?
The courses run alongside our programmed RYA Dinghy Instructor course in February and October.
Who is it for?
The course is aimed at over 16’s who have the personal dinghy experience but need to complete the pre-requisite qualifications as well as the instructor course.
How much is it?
The next step is to get out and start teaching with your new qualification. Although if you did want to build your CV and practical delivery experience before going solo then look at our work experience options (link). If you have the bug and are looking to broaden your opportunities, we also run all of the instructor endorsements.
