UPDATE!!! Kirsty successfully completed the London Marathon and has already secured her place for next year!
Kirsty said: “I loved it. It was very hot but I managed it in 3 hours 49 minutes so I have just qualified for a ‘good for age’ place for next year. I aim to do it even faster!
“I had my Garmin on and ended up doing over 28 miles with all the weaving in and out to try and get in front of people so I did 26.2 miles well before the 3 hours 49 minutes! It was a fantastic experience and would recommend anybody who is thinking of doing it to try and get a place!”
